Should I test?

I O'd on May 22nd and today is my 10th dpo. Today is the first day that I am able to test, but I would rather wait until the 5th, when AF is due. Should I hold out from testing? Its killing me because I have a HPT downstairs just waiting in a cabinet and I REALLY want to know but I really dont want to see that BFN because it might be to early? Soooooooooooo....................should I test or not? What would you do?????

If you can't wait (I couldn't) at least do it first thing in the morning. I tested and I'm still waiting for a BFP, 3 days past missed AF. This happened to me last time, though. So don't get upset if you get a BFN, just wait until missed AF and test again!  GOOD LUCK!!!

I would just test in the morning. I personally can never hold off. I know BFN stink but I rather know and just keep testing until AF shows or does not show.

I agree.  Using FMU is way more accurate this early.  I would test too, but i'm crazy like that!

i have held off so far but what stinks is that I start my new "summer job" tomorrow morning at 7:30 meaning I have to get up at 6, 2 hours earlier than my husband. On top of that, my husband is leaving for work for a week tomorrow. I don't know what I would do if I got a BFP, then had to start a new job, and not see my DH for a week! Dang it!! Oh what a delima! lol.
