Has anyone had issues with the drop in liners not "collapsing" as your LO feeds? It seems so easy.. what am I doing wrong? I have tried several- none of which have collapsed and he ends up taking in quite a bit of air? I have checked the website, read all the directions... Am I making a simple thing difficult?
TIA!
Re: Playtex Drop Ins
They are not suppose to collapse. I have been using them for 2 years...they are not the playtex bottles your Mom used. They are designed to take displace air. Do not worry, baby is not taking in a ton of air unless suckingon an empty bottle. You do not have to push air out either.
FWIW Target brand liners are the same but cheaper.
I love the target liners!!!
Mine collapse but it's a pain because then I can't see how much he's eaten (we burp every 1/2 ounce). I just guess when I'm using this bottle. I guess you can unscrew the top and it will fill back out
This is one reason I really didn't like the drop-ins . . . really hard to tell how much LO has eaten.
Thanks, I was remembering the one's my mom used with my little brother... she is the one who actually told me mine were "broken" lol
I think I will stick with my Dr. Browns and Ventaires anyways... just didn't want to be stumped by the drop in!
i stopped using those as much because I got so sick of washing all the damn pieces all the time. Be careful with the vent airs when you wash by hand, the writing on the outside has completely rubbed off 3 of ours
