Dollhouse for DD?

What is the best age to give DD a dollhouse?  She turns 3 in November and I was thinking maybe a dollhouse for her birthday - or should I give it a year?   I'm just not sure when she'll be the most excited about it:)   I know, I know, it's VERY early to be thinking about her birthday!!!

    We got one for our dd for Christmas (she was 2.5 then), and she loves it.  I don't think it's too early at all!

    DD got her dollhouse at age 2 and she loves it.  I don't think she's too yong at all!

    Are you thinking a wooden one for her to start collecting furniture?  or a more kids one to really play with and not worry about things breaking?

    We got dd the Grand Family Dollhouse for Christmas.  I think it is fisher-price that makes it.  Best gift ever...she plays with it constantly.  She loves her dollhouse so much.  My neice who is turning 2 in September plays with it when she comes over too.  I think this is a good age to have a dollhouse because they are starting to really get into the imagaination play.
