My green beans won't puree- why?

So I steamed them in the Beaba, and am now trying to puree them (function is just like a mini food processer, for those who don't have one).  Problem- they are just dicing up really small. How do I get them from diced to pureed? Help, my baby is hungry

Add a bit more water - that helps with ours.  They don't get as smooth as other things, though.

Add some water and rice cereal to help out. I have to do that with broccoli, but I usually buy the canned (no salt added) green beans instead, since it's easier to puree those.

Thanks ladies! Much better now! Oh, and do you use the cooking liquid to thin it or other water? I just dumped some of the cooking liquid back in

Yup - cooking liquid is good for most things - adds back in some of the good stuff that cooking brings out (so I've been told)  Try to avoid it for carrots, though, as that has a lot of nitrates, which you don't really want.
