How did you lap go? was there a lot of pain? What should I be prepared for? I have my pre-surg appt this Thursday. Was your dr able to remove some of the endo tissue?
Mine was a little sudden- I had two cysts that had to be removed because of possible ovarian torsion. While they were performing the surgery they also found endo which they removed as well.
It was a little painful (more sore than painful) but not as bad as I thought it would be. I looked worse than I felt (for some reason I developed pretty bad bruises around the incision sites that lasted for months afterwards). My shoulders and neck were sore too (from the anethesia) but that is normal. I developed a fever post-op so make sure DH keeps an eye on you. Getting rid of the endo did wonders for my periods.... I wish I had the surgery perfomed sooner!! I know it's scary but you will be happy you went through with it afterwards! I'm sending good vibes your way!!

I used to have horribly painful periods and now they are of course uncomfortable but not painful (and I'm not exagerating!). It will help immensly.
Oh- and one last thing. Make sure you have stool softeners on hand for post-surgery:)
