Marry someone who's on death row?

Some deciding factors:

-You met this person while working for a church organized program that helps death row inmates.  You helped this particular inmate "find God".

-You believe he is innocent.  He insists he is innocent.

-You fall in love.

I'm watching a show on this right now.  This woman did and then spent her life savings proving he was innocent.  I don't know what happens yet- they're just at the trial part right now.  But I'm curious if he'll be released and if, after all of this, he will really stay with this woman in the end.

Ummmm...nope.

They upheld the guilty verdict.  His execution is scheduled.  Looks like she wasted 5 years and her life savings on someone who's guilty of murdering another woman.  Winner.
