it's actually normal for some. took me about 90 days to get mine after going off, and after that i had random cycle lengths until i got pregnant. at four months it's worth talking to your ob/gyn and seeing if they suggest going on provera to force your first period.
I also stopped the pill in Feb. and haven't had a period since.. I have been to the doctor and had bloodwork done, but i've been diagnosed with hypothalmic or althletic amenorrhea, so my plan is to gain alittle weight, add more healthy fats to my diet and hope my period comes back..
Provera won't work for me to jumpstart my period b/c estrogen needs to be present, which my body is lacking rightnow...
Def.. call your doctor GL!
2 identical boys and a girl born 33 weeks 5 days on March 25th, 2011.. we couldn't be more in love
It's time to call the dr. I went off in early November. By January, I still hadn't had my period. They gave me provera to bring on my period. Had that period but didn't get it again. In April, I saw the dr. again and was prescribed provera and clomid b/c the dr. doesn't know if/when my period will return on its own. I just finished that round of clomid, and it looks like we'll be going back for more b/c AF just showed up.
I went off BCP in August and haven't had a period on my own yet. I had Provera to induce last month and have gained about 8 lbs b/c that's what they thought might be the cause! I'm charting now and it looks like I ovulated this month and that I'm 9 DPO so we'll see! Good luck! Most likely Dr. will jumpstart you with Provera. I'm also taking Vitex and Red Raspberry tea which is supposed to help you ovulate.
Why do they have to make it smell so good if you can't eat it??
I went off the pill in April and no AF yet. I'm on CD 40, so still a little early. But from what I've learned from these girls on here is that you should call doc if after 60 days and still no AF. GL.
Yep. It sucks. I went to the Dr. last month after getting of BCP in Feb. They started me provera to jump start AF. I'd suggest you call the Dr. For me, it just helped me to stop stressing about it.

I stopped BCP in Jan. My first cycle ended with the help of Provera. I'm still waiting on this cycle to end!
People say it could take months to get your body to regulate. If no period after 60 days most recommend going to see your doc.
