Hi Ladies,

I lost my baby to a missed m/c at 10 weeks. After my d&c it took 6 weeks to get AF which started 5/15. At that point my DH and I decided we should go back on the pill. I took 1 weeks worth of pills and did not feel well on them and stopped. I started to bleed again from stopping the pills. My DH and I have talked and decided to start ttc again. My dr. told me to wait 2 cycles. I'm wondering if this bleeding after stopping the pill is considered a cycle. I got pregnant the last time after stopping the pill mid pack, which obviously did not turn out well. I'm going to call my dr. tomorrow, but i was just wondering what your thoughts were. thanks!

hi~ sorry for your loss. 

basically you forced your body to bleed by stopping your pills, that does not really count as a cycle.  but if it makes you feel better to count that as one of two cycles that you have to wait then cool.

agreed with pp. that was a withdrawl bleed not a natural af. But, talk to your doc about it.

also, like you i got preg easily afte bcp and lost that baby to a missed m/c at 10week. I will never ever go back on the pill (unless i have to do ivf or something). It has messed with my cycles so badly.
