At our big ultrasound yesterday, our little girl's heart rate was 136. A couple of weeks ago, it was varying between 145-150. I asked the doctor if it was normal for it to fall that much at this point, and he said that as long as it was in the normal range, I should not worry.
So of course I am still worried, mostly because 136 was the last heart rate at the last ultrasound for the baby I lost. I hate that number.
So if anyone has any words of wisdom or a good e-slap for me, I'd appreciate it.
Oh, also worrying because I keep hearing about how everyone's baby was flipping and spinning and rolling at their ultrasounds, and my little one barely moved at the first tri screening. Yesterday she was kicking up a storm, moving her arms, and arching her back, but she never flipped or rolled.
I guess I am afraid of feeling too happy about everything - we had such a great day sharing the news with our family today and I'm scared that this will all go away.
Re: Apparently I like to borrow trouble
Oh, honey, I hate that you are worried. It is perfectly normal for the baby's heartrate to fluctuate. You may have just caught her napping or something.
As for the u/s, my baby didn't do any acrobatics at my u/s either - ANY of them! But she is certainly kicking up a storm in there because I feel her all the time now. I think she takes after mom and dad and is just a night owl - daytime is not her thing LOL
((big hugs)) to you! Stay positive!
everything sounds perfect to me!
i've never seen a flip or roll on ultrasound (and i've had 5).
hang in there

I'm sure everything is fine! Like the pp said heartrate can fluctuate and you probably caught her during a nap.
Neither of my girls were doing flips or anything like that at their big u/s. In fact with both I had to go back because they couldn't get them to move out of position for all the measurements they need. I think a lot of the girls who get the super wiggly babies dranks something sugary first.
I did drink a sprite in the waiting room, but maybe it was too soon before the ultrasound to make a difference.
I listened for her this morning and the heart rate was fluctuating between 135 and 150. She was kicking around, so that was nice.
