how uncomfortable is normal?

I'm 26 weeks (will bet 27 on Tuesday) and I'm suddenly so much more uncomfortable than I was a week or so ago. ?Sleeping, walking...everything seems very different. ?

I am having some seriously annoying BH, and have been to L&D twice now and had an appointment on Thursday but everything is OK. ?Babies weigh just over 2lbs. each (so I imagine the over 4 lbs. of babies has something to do with it). ?

Is this normal? ?I've been cleared to return to work on Monday to finish out the year, but I'm really dreading it and I'm worried it will make my contrax come back.?

    Ohhh poor thing......yes it is SO normal. At 28 weeks I hit a wall! Things that were easy to do seemed to be impossible to do overnight! You are sooooooooo close....hang in there:)

    28 wks was horrible for me and work was nearly unbearable.  You say to finish out the year - are you a teacher?  I am and at that point walking around was IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!  You will make it - You can do this!!!!  It's not easy, but you are so close - keep the end in sight.

    I do teach. ?We have 3 1/2 days left (with kids) then Friday is a work day and the following Monday and Tuesday we have training which will be a breeze - just sitting there.?

    But MAN! ?It did seem to just hit me all of the sudden. ?We went to dinner tonight and had to stop by Wal-Mart on the way home and that basically did me in!!

    Thanks for the encouragement. ?I'm going to work Monday - then DH said if it's bad to take off Tuesday (and maybe Wednesday). ?I want to save my few precious days I have left to use next year, but I'm not sure it's worth it!?

    I hit my wall this weekend at 22 weeks wiht triplets so I understand. I can't imagine working right now. If you feel unconfortable going back to work, I wouldn't do it. Do what is best for you-you and the babies are more important. I left work 2 weeks ago and I am BROKE and it is really hard but remember the babies! Good luck to you. Marcie

    Hi there..

    Just wanted to commisserate- I don't have contrax (that I know of) but I feel like in the last week my body has all of a sudden turned on me. I feel so lucky that the first 2 trimesters were good to me but I have now developed carpal tunnel, am peeing WAY more (seems like overnight) and sleeping has become much ?more of a nightmare, it was annoying before but I have ended up on the couch 2 nights this week just to get in the last couple hours. Sucks that it is just going to get worse :(.?
