And I figured since she was probably a bit traumatized from them dunking her entire body I let her have a taste of her cake. :-)

Thanks for looking!

I recognize the church  :)  I'm thinking of switching to that parish.  We belong to St. Matt's in Indy, but it's quite a drive when OLG is minutes away.

I've never seen a complete dunking in a catholic church either! ?I'm catholic, and the only one's I've seen is when they pour the holy water over the head. ?Love the dress!

She's beautiful!  Two of my friends are teachers at OLG and several of my students go there.  What did you end up doing for favors?

Thank you!  I did little mint tin favors with jelly beans in them.  On the label of them it said "God Bless Olivia Joy".

Really? our (Catholic) church does this all the time and it's the preferred method!

Yea I think if they have they have the huge font then they offer it.  Some churches don't have the huge font so they would just pour over the head.  My cousin was submerged many years ago and ever since I seen it done at his church I always said that when I have children I want it done the same way. The priest was actually thrilled to do it as he doesn't get many requests for the submerging.
