Can anyone recommend a good online resource for learning about daycares? I'm specifically interested in daycares in the loop, lincoln park, or bucktown areas. Thanks!
Try Neighborhood Parents Network. There's a $40 fee to join online, but they have a childcare discussion board with lots of info on child care, and you could post your question there too. This site is how we found/chose our Lakeview daycare.

Ditto prior post. Some daycares have REALLY long waitlists though- so you might want to get on the search ASAP.
You can also try Action Chicago- for a small fee, they will send you a list of daycares (including home daycares).
