It's gonna be a day...

First, I'm in pain.  A lot of pain.  It's been a BAD week and I've just been trying to get through it.  No sleep, OTC meds not working, need to get stronger stuff but I'm being stubborn.

Then, I swear I married a girl.  He takes SO much longer to get ready to go anywhere and he doesn't even have hair! Stick out tongue  So while I made all the food for today's trip and packed up all the stuff for the kids he got ready.  Himself.  That was it.  Grrr.

And now I get to drive for 90 minutes (each way) to spend a day on a sailboat with people who don't have children and don't understand that when you have kids the world stops becoming about what you want but rather what is in the best interest of the children.

God. Help. Me.

Did I mention that I have scary PMS and was told yesterday that I'm pre-diabetic and need to have more tests?  Yeah...you can say this week has been a doozy.

  • I'm sorry (hugs)  I'm with you on DH taking FOREVER to get ready.  I'm the one who goes to work every day, and yet, somehow, I get up, nurse DS, get him changed, dressed and often feed him solids by the time DH gets out of bed and is 'ready' enough to take DS.  Ummm...   yeah - I won't get started...

  • Aww, I hope you have a good day and enjoy the boat ride.
  • I'm sorry.  (((hugs)))

I have a H with no hair who takes forever as well.  Sometimes, I just yell "I'm going to turn on the dishwasher" and then he realizes it's time to get out of the shower. Mostly I just grumble, though.  I wish I could be more helpful.
