2nd Trimester

You should NEVER google...

Pictures of postpartum bellies!  I thought that I felt unsexy now, in 16 weeks I will experience a whole new level of unsexiness.

The bulletin article in the babycenter 18 week e-mail was about postpartum bellies complete with photos.  Yeah, talk about a very un-fun reality check!

I think it's great that those women are brave enough to show their PP bellies like that. So much better then seeing those celebrities that are size 2's when they just gave birth. Shows a real woman.

  • I think its great, too.  I also realize that after 6-12 months everything will be practically status quo.  What shocked me were all of the wrinkles at 6-10 weeks after delivery.  I knew something happened, but I hadn't given much thought to the details.  The details scared me a little.

  • Mine isn't so bad. I think the stretch marks are kinda cool :)

  • Yep, I googled those bellies a long time ago and scared myself sh*tless.
  • I am not against plastic surgery if my tummy doesn't go back to the way it was pre-preg! Google can be so cruel....
  • This doesn't scare me as much as having a tear and ending up with a "franken-vadge".
