Using Cloth Insert in G Diaper

Hi, I'm sorry if this has already been addressed.  I am new to this board, actually lurked throughout pregnancy but finally "joined" lol

I have several little G pants which we love for our little boy, however, I would prefer to use a cloth insert in them instead of the disposable liners.  Has anyone tried this with any success?  If so which type did you use?

Thanks!

I have to figure out how to add pictures to my posts!  (any tips?)

Re: Using Cloth Insert in G Diaper

  • Havent tried the G diaper but for your pictures download your pic into tinypic downsize to messageboard size, once that is done you can copy and past the code. Go to my pump, edit my profile, then paste in to the signature.

totally works. We have used prefolds but some people just use flat diapers or even just the birdseye Gerber diapers in the g pants. Just fold them with the thick part running crosswise and pop them in.
  • We use cloth inserts for our little G's and it works great. I found a seller on etsy who makes a hemp insert that is awesome. I also sewed some using a layer of microfiber (I bought a package of the auto towels) and microfleece on the outside. They work well too! I was going to switch over to another type of cloth cover, but after trying out a few realized we really like the little g's. Plus, we have already invested so much!
