When is the best time to get a 3d/4d u/s?

I am thinking about getting one in the next two months but I didnt know if there was a best time to see baby in one?

I have a couple in 3D black and white at 26 weeks 4 days! ?The tech just switched over from 2D to 3D on her own accord which was really nice for us. ?But I would like a cd and to have them done in the orange color (it's a little easier to see features) and I hear that between 28 and 34 weeks is best. ?I am just at 29 so now would be a good time!

Yeah I have heard the same as PP that between 28 and 32 is best, but I really dont know for sure. I would call down at the place you are going to have it at and ask them what is best.

I just asked my office this week, and they said that 28-30 is the best, and that they don't like to do them after 32 because of the decrease in space for baby.....

Im going at 27 weeks, thats when my u/s place said is the prime time to get great pictures!

We got great pictures at 25 weeks, but our sonogram at 32 weeks was really good too. ?The tech told us the sonogram at 32 weeks would be what he will look like at birth.?
