So at my last appointment (1 week ago), they said the baby is measuring at about 3 1/2 lbs.....they did not seem to think that this was abnormal or anything, but wow! Its incredible to see how much they grow....he was 2 lbs at the previous visit 4 weeks earlier. I just know that this baby will be at least 8 lbs, if not 9...DH and I were both 8 lbs 8 ozs when we were born, so this guy is gonna be a big one! Should make labor fun
Re: 3 1/2 pounds already!
frozen transfer a success! boy #2 via VBAC
our little guy was 3 1/2 lbs at our 29w ultrasound... it is crazy how quick the gain weight
and his head was measuring 3 weeks ahead...
we will just have big healthy babies
nothing wrong with that
Growing Up Olson
I know it's all "guesstimates" with the weight...but my OB doesn't give ANY numbers - in fact - it's hard to get them to tell me what the heartbeat is. At my 20 week u/s I asked how big he was measuring, and the tech said "oh, we don't do that, we just go by how many WEEKS they are measuring" umm..yeah - but you get THAT by putting together their measurements! DUH.
A week ago I had an u/s because of lack of movement - and she was doing all sorts of measurements. I could see things pop up on the screen. At that point I was just over 27 weeks, but it kept popping up "24w 5d" and "25w3d".....I guess it wasn't enough to cause any kind of concern though.
**Edit - Just over 26 weeks!
A friend of mine had her 3-D ultrasound yesterday & she is 32 weeks. The baby is measuring 6 lbs 10 oz already!!! She is having a c-section since she had one before so I guess good for her.
But STILL OMG!
