3rd tri and spray tanning?

I looked back and didn't see any posts about this - sorry if it's been asked lately. 

What have you guys read about the safety of spray tanning while pregnant?  Most stuff I've read say it's fine, but it's layman's advice and I'm looking something more "official".   My shower is coming up and since it's going to be warm I want to make my casper white arms and legs look a little less scary in a sleeveless dress.

I was actually wondering the same thing. My friend suggested it but I didn't know if it was ok or not. I'm interested to see the answers.

I asked my doctor last time I saw her and she said it's ok throughout the whole pregnancy.  I am dying to get one too.

Im afraid of doing this even before pg. I am soo nervous that I will end up orange. Grose

Not sure if it's okay or not, but I spray tanned on Tuesday and I am SO glad I did!!!!

i guess that it has not been around long enough for there to be any serious testing done.. but he said from what my Dr has seen it does not affect baby. so he said it was OK if i wanted to do it.

I haven't done the spray tan, but I've used my own self tanner.  I was worried about my skin turning a different colour because of pregnancy hormones, but all was good.  I say spray away!

 Yeah, I've been using some gradual self-tanning lotion all week for an event this weekend. And I keep waking up thinking I'm gonna look in the mirror and be some funky color because of the change in hormones.  But so far so good...

Thanks ladies!  I doubt any of us will have a baby oompa loompas because we spray tanned this late in the game.  I'm gonna do it...

I asked my doc last week and he gave me the green light so I scheduled my spray tan appt for 2 days before my shower. My place has spayed many pregnant women but they just make you wear a face mask when spraying your face.
