DS uses the sippy cups with the silicone straws. Everytime I leave it sitting on the counter, milk or water comes shooting up the straw and five minutes later, the sippy cup is in a puddle on the counter. What am I doing wrong? Is there a valve that I need to open? I think there is so much pressure that it just shoots out the top. I know I'm not overfilling them because they do this even if there is just one inch of fluids in it. Surely there has to be a trick to this because all of our straw sippy cups do this regardless of brand. Any ideas? Thanks!
Re: straw sippy cups - what am I doing wrong?
two of my friends use these cups for their los and NEVER have that problem
me on the other hand...........happens all.the.time! i think sometimes when ds stops drinking he blows air back into the cup ..or something, i dont know! before i leave it on a counter or put it back in the fridge i twist the top off and put it back on and that seems to work.
has your dc figured out how to turn it upside and bang it harder than ever to get liquid to pour out of it? ds discovered that trick in his carseat on the way to my dentist. he was covered in milk!
