DD is on enfamil AR for her reflux and has pretty bad gas. We tried the powder formula a few weeks ago and DD didn't seem to like it so we went back to the RTF. We start Daycare soon and since I won't be able to open up cans in the middle of the day when we need them, I feel like we're going to end up wasting a lot of formula this way.
Should we try the powder with DD again or should we just suck it up with the RTF stuff?
Re: RTF Formula
Will you just premake the bottles and send to daycare each day or no? I make bottles once a day and just assumed that I would send them with DS to daycare when he goes for them to put in the fridge.
If they will be making the bottles, then I might specify how much you want to go in each bottle so that they are not over filling them and then throwing out a lot. And, if they start going through the formula quicker than you think they should have a talk with them?
We are also stuck with ready made formula, tried powder that didn't go over well at all. I think wasting formula goes with the territory - even at home sometimes he wants to drink less than normal so that has to be thrown out since he won't end up drinking the rest in an hour.
This. ?DS also refuses the powdered Similac (he's on Alimentum). ?We're currently trying Enfamil Nutramigen, but if he won't take that he'll be back on the RTF Alimentum. ??
