I am so overdue (almost 2 weeks ticker is off and I can't fix it), my due date was the 17th. I am so frustrated to still be pregnant and I'm so jealous of all the lucky ladies having their babies. I have had contractions for two days that are 15 minutes apart, not getting closer but getting stronger. I am SO hoping it will be tonight or tomorrow.
I have also been so mean the past few days and I feel bad. Luckily DH is great and understands that I am uncomfortable, tired, and in pain. It's just so hard for him not to be here and still be waiting. I have a scheduled ultrasound next week but I really hope I don't have to go.
Vent over!
Re: So frusturated and jealous...vent
just out of curiosity.. was it yours or your dr decision to let you go 2 weeks past your due date?
my dr told me he wont let me go a day past 41 weeks.

My doc told me that he'd never talk induction until I was post 42 weeks (and even then would only recommend it if the placenta was losing it's groove).
OP - You're having contrax, they're getting stronger - it's totally going to happen for you soon!
I am using a midwife and trying to go natural. I don't want to be induced if there is not a problem with me or the baby (which as of now there isn't). Most first time Mom's go 10 days late on average if left to go on their own. Babies are usually fine at 2 weeks late as long as Doctors and midwives are watching fluid levels. It's just uncomfortable for me but baby is moving really well in there.
Hopefully baby will come on his own very soon. I don't want to be induced (but will if necessary obviously).
You're almost there!!! It's happening and will happen soon! I have a friend and she has gone close to 42 weeks with both of her pregnancies. She's pregnant again and just adding on a couple of weeks to her due date, she figures that is just how long her body gestates for!
