I can't believe I am actually saying this.  We submitted our application today.  Even more shocking is the fact that we submitted it for domestic adoption!  Some of you may remember that I've been going back and forth about DA vs IA.  After much thought and many conversations, we decided that we feel more comfortable with domestic right now.  That is a complete 180 from where we started.  Funny how things work out, don't you think?

We are very excited.  We have a long road ahead of us (probably 2 years).  However, it is so nice to have a plan in place and know that we are taking steps toward growing our family.  I couldn't wait to post this.  The new ticker doesn't even register "days waiting" yet. 

Thanks for all the support as we have gone through this decision process. I'm sure there are many more questions to come!

Congratulations! That's very exciting news. We submitted ours a few weeks ago too so we will be working at the same pace or so, about 2 years for us too. Keep us posted!
