Stinky Bath Sling

We have one of the bath slings that goes in the infant tub, and we've only been using it for 4 1/2 weeks, but it already stinks. I clean the tub every few baths, but can't figure out how to clean the sling since it's pretty much just mesh netting. I don't want to use a bunch of chemicals on it since LO's bare tush is directly on it. Any suggestions?

I clean mine with her baby detergent. I just pour a capful in there and let it soak with hot water then I rinse it out.

Hmmmm. I have never thought about cleaning this. Another reason I win mother of the year.

this except I am too lazy to do it by hand - I throw it in the washing machine when I do DD laundry...lol...

throw it in the wash with 1/2 cup of vinegar. gets the smell right out!

DS seems to like the bare tub just as much.
