How Many Diapers/Wipes?

Hello.  I am trying to get my hospital bag packed and I am not sure how much of things I need.  My hospital doesn't provide any diapers/wipes so I was wondering, if I have the baby with me at all times, how many diapers/wipes do you think I'd need to pack for a day to 3 day stay in the hospital?

I would pack at least 30 (10 a day is what I use now).  Probably 50+ to be on the safe side.  You shouldn't need more than one pack of wipes, but bring 2 just in case.

I'd get the big mega diapers and a big pack of wipes.  The meconium is really sticky and you'll go through a lot of wipes with those diapers.  Whatever you don't use at the hospital you can just use at home.

Your hospital doesn't provide them?  Huh.  I've never heard of that before!  For 3 days with a newborn, I'm guessing you'll want to have about 30 or so diapers handy.  For wipes, one new package (assuming it has at least 50 wipes) will be plenty.  Everyone's LO and changing style is different but assume at least a diaper change every 3 hours...

Wipes especially...the meconium is a PITA to get off. We went through a container of wipes in the hospital and 1 pack of newborn diapers...the packs were about 45 diapers I think. Plan on 12 per day.

FWIW I found Tesco's diapers to be really good, and Boots seems to always have sales on Pampers stuff.

Wow no diapers at the hospital. Anway I would take one tub of wipes (I think there are about 70 in there) and I would take about 40 diapers just to be on the safe side. That is about what I take when gone for a long weekend and the wipes also cover my toddler.

I would bring a 40 pack of dipers and a box of wipes.
