thoughts on Milannah Lynn?  (mil-on-ah)

Re: xp: possibly changing LOs name at 37 weeks..

  • Love it!  What's the original name?
  • I think I like this spelling better - Milanna - without the "h".
  • Loading the player...
  • I don't like it.
  • I like the way the name sounds but don't love the spelling- seems like you could take out a few letters or something?
  • Why the second thoughts?  Looks like Maddisyn Lynn is your first choice?

  • I agree that Milanna looks better but overall the name is NMS. I like Miliania better (or however Donald Trump's wife spells her name). Melania?
  • I chimed in on 3rd tri, but I'll post here, too, in case I was too late.

I also like the sound but think the spelling has too many letters.  How about Milana?  Anna and Ana are pronounced differently, and I think you're going for the 'ana' sound.  It's also spelled like the city Milan, which will probably give people a big clue how to say it.

  • I like the name, but spelling will be a problem.  As someone who got her name spelled wrong all the time...make it easier to spell, please.

    Ditto.  I'd like Milana better.

  • Sorry, but Maddisyn is a ridiculous spelling. So Is Milannah, though I'm not sure how you would spell it.

If you go with Maddisyn, just spell it Madison.

Sorry, but I gotta go with this. ?

  • I have to agree on the spelling issues.  Milannah is never going to be pronounced correctly, and both have too many letters.  I would go with Milana or Madison.  Or if you're going for the Muh-lay-na pronunciation, spell it Malena.

  • I am not a fan of the name Madison, no matter how it is spelled. I say go with Milanna ?(without the h) GL!
  • I like it much better than your current choice, although I also prefer it without the h at the end.

This exactly. I think the name Milana is very cute, different, but not too crazy, and your spelling of Madison is no good. The poor kid will have to go through life correcting everyone she meets. I do not like crazy spellings though, I am more traditional in that sense.

i do not like made up spellings, so i don't like either milannah or maddisyn. milan with a different mn is ok.

  • I like Madison and Milana. Milly is a cute nn too. I don't like the different spellings though, it seems complicated.
