What do you think of this name? DH suggested it the other night. I do like it - I think it's unique and different enough. However, is Kendra a name for a professional woman? Does Kendra sound too sexy or cute? I know right now there's the connotation with the "Girls Next Door" bimbo but I'm assuming her 15 minutes of fame are almost up... what do you think?

It's really nms, but if you like it, I say go for it. Don't get hung up on negative connotations if you truly like the name.

I like it- it's not very popular but I think it's pretty. And for the record I love Kendra on GND so that doesn't ruin the name for me.

I definitely don't think Kendra is a bimbo name!

Honestly (showing my dorkiness here), I think of Harry Potter -- Kendra was the name of Dumbledore's mother.  But since she's only in the last book, I'm not sure other people will make that connection!

I like it. My sister's name is Kendra. She's 21 and not a bimbo. Plus I've only heard of two other Kendras besides her. It's unique but not weird.

I like it! It's pretty but not too popular. One of my best friends in named Kendra, and it works well, and also transitions well from child to adult, and personal to professional.

Her 15 minutes isn't quite up yet...she just got her own series..."Kendra"
