Too cute--DS comforting DD

Last night we all went on a walk around the neighborhood, and DD started running on the sidewalk. Of course, just as I was telling her to stop running so she wouldn't fall down, she fell and scraped her knee and foot. She cried all the way home while DH carried her. DS walked with me and wanted to know why his big sister was crying.

When we got home, I took her up to the bathroom to put Band-Aids on. DS came into the bathroom and immediately went over to DD, who was sitting on a stool and crying while I cleaned her wounds. He stood next to her, put his hand on top of her head and started rubbing it gently. He said, "It's okay." He kept his hand on her head while I put her Band-Aids on, and he kept trying to be helpful and hand me more Band-Aids. Then when we were done, I asked him to give DD a hug. He bent down and not only gave her a hug, but a big kiss on the cheek. It was the sweetest thing!!

They fight like cats and dogs sometimes, but it's too cute when they show that they really love each other!
