My furniture is being delivered tomorrow & I'm starting to panic about how it is going to fit in the room- ?we have 2 cribs, a long dresser and a glider/ottoman. Unfortunately, 2 walls are taken up by windows (and low ones at that) and the closet/door to hallway & the other 2 walls are not long enough to accommodate both cribs against them or even to put them on opposite sides b/c the dresser would then have to be in front of the window(s) and the glider would be practically in the middle of the room.I looked into smaller cribs but the dimensions are relatively standard so I figured they could both stick out from the one wall & be ok, but after seeing a friend's convertible crib today, I think the 2 different height sides (headboard & footboard) might be much weirder looking than I was thinking if they're not flush against the wall.Thoughts? ?
Re: anyone have conv. crib that sticks out from wall instead of flush against?
Thanks!
Good idea -I was debating the headboards back to back...I liked the idea of being able to walk between them (with footboards facing each other) to be able to get at both of them easily from the same place but I am going to to try the other option if that is too weird. I imagine they're going to be super heavy so I am hoping to find an option I like while the the delivery guys are still here but who knows...
