So we bought my daughter a convertible car seat but since she is a peanut and is not yet twenty pounds she needs to be rear facing ( would like her rear facing until the car seat allows) but I have bucket seats and the seat is completely upright even in its recline position. Do they make a wedge or anything to level out the seat or you have to do this yourself?

The fire department cut a pool noodle to make ours recline more but still stay level. You can do the same--it goes under the front of the carseat against the back of vehicle seat--or you can buy a premade one in the aisles where you'd find baby mirrors and such.
