So the post from Mandy the other day about considering adopting a child has become a big old flame fest over on 0-6 copying her thread from here.

Really how ignorant do people need to be? She asked an innocent question about what she has always wanted to do and yet others find this flame worthy.

Ugh. I find it really hard to find time to keep up here with our bundle, I really don't know where some people find the time to be so malicious.

I find it completely unacceptable and ignorant (have I used that word enough yet). Frankly those that are flaming seem to have issues too IMO.

I don't know what her past is and I don't care. She asked a question about how to become more educated about adoption. Even if she is 'unstable' or has complained about financial issues or marriage issues WHO among us hasn't? Seriously.

................ I'll go be pi$$y on my own about this lol maybe it is the principle of it that irritates me.

I'm sorry you had to see any of that.  There is one girl who has it out for me over there.  She has flamed me for so many reasons from my weight, to an argument I had posted about my husband possibly taking a job in another state and relocating our family.  It has been ridiculous.  I used to post over there a lot, now I can barely stand it.  Sorry to drag you into it.  I was just curious on how to get started.  My husband and I always wanted to do this and we have decided it is the right time to start our research.

You have nothing to apologize for Mandy. I dragged myself into it. I don't know you from adam and frankly no one online really knows another. I found the whole thing disgusting.

Asking questions and researching is a great start to potentially fulfilling your dream. Good luck on your journey.
