My Bradley Instructor said last night that it was typical of mothers who are having girls... we are team green so I love hearing and comparing OWT...Everything is of course 50/50 with me including people who guess based on my belly.
Anyone who knows what they are having find this to be true or false??
Re: Did/Do you have an aversion to chicken?
Never heard that one before.
I had a big time aversion to any meat at all during 1st and most of 2nd Tri.. but lately I have been craving my husband's awesome grilled chicken all. the. time. ?
The O'Baby Blog
i think that is one of the silliest pregnancy "rumors" I have ever heard!
almost every pg woman I know has had an aversion to chicken... boy or girl baby.
I could not even LOOK at chicken on TV without wanting to puke when i was pg with my son.... and again- this pg - it grosses me out- i can only eat it if it's chopped up really small in checken salad.... again- 2 more boys.
Thats kinda funny... i actually had a small aversion to chicken as well- it had to be beef for me for a few months (in first tri)... i remember one night, i was out w/ friends and had buffalo wings...that was my first experience of aversion and then lasted a few months after that....
I'm having a girl too! ;-)
Almost all old wives tales are bogus, but they get it right about 50% of the time so people continue to believe them and propagate them.
I had a huge aversion to chicken and turkey until about 18-20 weeks (the first time I threw up was because my sister served rotisserie chicken for dinner. Just the smell of it in her house sent me over the edge.) I'm having a boy.
I had major chicken aversions in the first tri - totally over it now, though.
I'm on Team Green:)
