That's a whole lot of eggs for a first time exposure. Can you maybe start her out with just some scrambled egg yokes? The egg white is the part most likely to cause an allergic reaction and that is the main ingredient of mayonnaise. Of course, I could just be overly cautious since my DS has an egg allergy.

I tried it a few weeks ago. He doesn't have an allergies as of yet so I wasn't too concerned. I gave him a little taste of it one day and he ate it just fine. I made him a sandwich the following day and he liked it.
Sure. She's plenty old enough to try eggs at this point. I can't think of any reason why it would be bad for a toddler- and who cares about the mayo? I love opportunity to get more healthy fats into my toddler! I try to stick with all-natural safflower oil mayo, but really, I still don't think that regular mayo is going to harm a toddler in moderation. ;-)
Sure, go for it. I guess that is the second time mommy in me. My dd loves eggs, scrambled and hard boiled, and eats them at least 1-2 times a week! Usually kids are okay with eggs after their first birthday.

Joseph has had whole eggs since 6m. We have no history of allergies and my doctor was okay with it.
He doesn't care for the texture of egg salad or deviled eggs though.
