Does Tyler sound weird with my last name?

We can't agree on a name AT ALL!!! DH brought up the name Tyler and now that I've fallen in love with it he says he doesn't like it anymore because it sounds bad with our last name. What do you think??? Ugh, I already agreed to let him use his family middle name. Doesn't that mean I get to pick the first name!? (=

I realize there is an "R" on the ending of both names. My question is, does it sound bad?

it's sort of rhyming with the two syllables and same ending sound.  but if you love it then go for it.

My son's first and last name end in "son". While I was pregnant I was unsure about it, but I loved his name so much and it had a special meaning for us. ?Now it doesn't sounds weird to me at all. HTH!

it's not horrible but defintely could sound better. i also think lewis is super cute but with the L sound in tyler it's a little difficult to say. my favorite boy name is davis, that would sound good with flieger but not lewis... or maybe hudson lewis flieger? i'm not sure what your style is.

I agree with your H, sorry.  Our last name ends in an -er, too, and that pretty much ruled out -er first names for me.
