good site, but I just typed in several names from very popular languages (that are usually the ones that people can't pronounce) and it comes up that it is not in the data base.

Interesting.  A little while ago there was a debate on here about how to pronounce Caroline -- according to that website it can be pronouced Kahr-o-line or Kahr-o-luhn (like carolyn).
