i didnt say you weren't welcome. but its kind of ridiculous to think that you are giving good advice when you really have no idea what youre talking about - like normal. 

Seriously - no one on this board besides you has ever told me my advice was bad - I think you are just a little jealous everyone is turning against you!  You are LAME!!!!!  And believe me I took care of all ages of children for 10-15 years of my life so I KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT.  I think it is kind of sad that YOU don't have a clue!

i hardly want respect from you and dont care how you discipline your dd. i am not threatened, but jessicada seems to feel as if she knows it all bc she has a child a year younger than mine or calips. and that is not the case. 

I don't think *I* was the know it all - PUNK!  WTH - show me where I acted as though I "knew it all"  - she asked what she could do I gave her advice - that is all - at least I gave her advice instead of just putting her down.

jessicada, a 2.5 year old cannot put herself in a dangerous situation. a parent not watching their child and not preventing behavior is what makes it dangerous. i am sorry you don't like the attitude that preventing behavior is important to parenting and discipline, but you also don't have a 2.5 yo.

I 110% agree with you punk.  I know...weird.

3 months ago I posted on 6-12 about how a toddler darted out in front of the car in front of me pulling into the pediatrician's office parking lot.   His mom was at the car not paying attention to him a good 20 yards away.  It's not the toddler's fault. It's all the mom's fault.  You need to keep your hand on your toddler at all times if near a dangerous situataion like traffic.  no expections.  You never know when an ice cream truck will come by and make them run off impulsively.
