Hormonal issues?

So I am having a hard time getting pregnant. I am always tired (DD sleeps 11 hours straight). I am cranky. I get bad headaches. My periods are irregular, extremely heavy, and extremely painful. And to top that off, I now have darker hair over my upper lip. That's right...I am turning into a man. My OB thinks nothing of any of this and had no advice. Anyone else get this stuff? Esp. the darker hair? I am very self-conscious about it now because it is very obvious to me.

I have no real advice other than to find a different OB.  Someone out there has got to have something they can do for you.  On the down side, my mom has had hair like that for years.  She's gotten to the point of tweezing, waxing and bleaching.

I would look into getting a second opinion if I were you.  I am definitely coping with new hormone fluctuation but I didn't have my first period till March of 09, and thankfully it is only for a day or two.  I am still breastfeeding so the longer than usual cycles are ok (still a healthy range).  I am trying to get pregnant and slowly wean my son so we have a lot of things going on so I am sure it is going to take a while.  HTH
