I got emotional..

and it really surprised me. All day Saturday I was thinking back a year about the last day before I had Brady, what it was like to go into labor, then on his birthday at 11:39 (the time he was born) I started crying! I am such a dork, but I cannot believe my baby is one. Who knew one year could go so fast.

I did the same thing. & now he even looks like a toddler!. So the crying doesn't stop..

It's bittersweet. I found that I got over the emotional stuff within a week because I was just looking forward to seeing all the new things DS would be learning. He is SO much fun now!

You are so not a dork! I cried too. I held my son and rocked him to sleep crying. Then I went in his room later that night, and looked at him and teared up.
It?s very bittersweet, and to think, this is only the beginning of all those other ?growing up? milestones. We still have kindergarten, and puberty, and prom, and first car, etc etc?
