Am I the only one that gets irritated when MIL

reprimands/corrects DS in front of me, before I can do it myself??  I have no problem with her telling him not to do something that he is not allowed to do.  Not at all.  But this week we were away and all sitting at the dinner table and DS did something he is not supposed to do and before I could even open my mouth to speak to him, she was already "NO NO NO... we don't do that" blah blah blah.

I was super irritated.  Umm... MIL... this is my child and while I am sitting 2 feet away from him, I can handle it.  Thanks... buh-bye.

Pregnancy hormones?  Normal?
