I've googled some but can't seem to find anything really cute. DH made something with DD (she is only 2) for me so I would like to make something for him. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
all the parenting mags have them this month-- maybe go to the library and photocopy your faves?
I am doing digital keychains with cute ics of the kids for MH and our dads-- not crafty, but Harry can help me pic the pics, and I am using them as gift ties on their larger gifts.?
I've got a couple. The 1st, I did years ago when my older DD and DS were little. We went to Michaels (or any craft store) and bought a heart shaped mold (big enough to be a stepping stone) and poured concrete in it, and I let them decorate it with various mosaic stones/tiles, etc. We also carved in..."We love you daddy", let it set and dry, and it turned out beautifully. He still has it in the garden, and it's such a cool piece of art that he'll treasure forever.
The 2nd, I did last year. Went to Snapfish, uploaded a bunch of pics of all the kids when they were babies up until now, picked my favorites (esp. those taken with their dad) and had Snapfish make a mug with the pics and in DH's favorite color, with a little quote from the kids. You can design it any way you'd like and DH loved it!!! It is still his favorite coffee cup.
I am somewhat crafty but have little time in my hands. this year I got DH one of those "record-your-own-message" postcards at Walgreens and had DD record a message for her daddy and then let her doodle all over the card!
