Evie as middle name

Please help me come up with first names to go with Evie as a middle name. My husband is obsessed with the name and I like it too, but he won't just use it as a straight out first name. He wants to use one of the formal names it comes from like Genevieve or Evelyn. We already have one daughter named Gwendolyn so I just don't want one of those names because they are too similar in my opinion. He agreed we can make her mn Evie and also use that as a nn if I can think of a first name that flows with it.

Re: Evie as middle name

  • Evelyn Jane

    Evelyn Elizabeth

    Anne Evelyn

Nothing is really coming to mind besides those. I like the nn Evie though.?

  • I think there are more names than just Evelyn and Genevieve that Evie could be a nn for. Here's some that come to mind:

    Evangeline

    Eve

    Evangelina

    Everly

    Evita

    Evanna

    Geneva

    Evalina

And Evie as a middle name:

    Clarie Evie

    Daniella Evie

    Lauren Evie

    Fiona Evie

    Clarissa Evie

    Savannah Evie

    Gabriella Evie

    Norah Evie

    Victoria Evie

    Cerys Evie

    Juliana Evie

  • I love the name Genevieve :)  What about using a name like that and using Evie as a nn?

  • I'm confused.  Your goal here is to get some ideas for first names, considering that the baby's middle name will just be Evie, right?  And then she'll go by Evie?

If that's the case, I think two or three syllable first names that begin and end in a consonant sound - meaning if there is an e at the end it isn't pronounced- will be the most complimentary.  (Sorry, I studied phonetics of different languages.)  Like

    Cameron Evie
    Jacqueline Evie
    Madeline Evie
    Madison Evie
    Caitlyn Evie
    Morgan Evie

    Etc..
