Help re convertible carseats!

 I am so confused about the convertible carseats....I thought that the Britax Marathon was *THE* seat to get, but I'm looking on consumer reports website, and it scores the Evenflow Triumph, the Britax Roundabout and the Cosco Alpha Omega significantly higher thna the Marathon.

I don't have LATCH in my car, so it will be secured via the seatbelt.  I have a 2000 Grand AM....so it isn't huge, but not that small.

Any advice or recommendations?

    We bought the Evenflow Triumph.  It seems pretty big to me, but fits with room in our Escape.  Both DH and I really like it... it was easy to install and really easy /convenient to use...

    We have Marathons.  They are big, but we really like them.

    We have a Cosco Alpha Omega. We love it as it was super easy to install with a seat belt (we have a new vehicle but UAS is a PITA) and DD seems comfortable

    It's important to remember that Consumer Reports also factors in price into their ratings, and the Marathon being as expensive as it is wouldn't get as a high of a rating.  I love the Marathon and I still think it's THE seat to get;)
