Long haul flight with a toddler

I have flown a ton with DD but next week will be her first transatlanic flight (8 hours) since she started cruising/walking. ?I plan on bringing a ton of snacks, some new fun toys, and possibly drugging her to sleep ;) ?But any tips to keep her entertained would be greatly appreciated.?

    We took a 27 hour drive. Board books were great.

    Benadryl (seriously). ?We've flown on a number of long transatlantic flights with our daughter (S. America and Europe) and just try to bring some new toys (etch-a-sketch makes a mini drawing thing with a pencil-like thing which is great). ?I even caved and let my husband bring a dvd player on the last one (I'm anti-videos but it was worth it on the flight). ?Lots of books, snacks. ?Good luck...it's tough to keep them occupied.
