DD is really close to walking. I generally haven't put shoes on her, and I was expecting to get away with a barefoot baby for awhile yet. So, i'm looking for shoes for a new walker. Sandals, I guess, because it's hotter than hell here. TIA!

My silly Lily is almost 4.

See Kai Run! They are so lightweight and flexible. And they have very cute styles. DS has 2 pairs as well as Stride Rite sneakers. He has been walking since January though... I would not put a brand new walker in Stride Rites. They are much heavier and less flexible, imo.
(eta: I can't speak for Stride Rite sandals, only sneakers.)
RileyRoos! They imitate barefoot walking and run about $30 a pair. I bought mine from Tiny Soles online and they give you a 10% off coupon for your next purchase. They have tennis shoes and sandals. I am buying a pair of the sandals very soon.
