We have a turtle sandbox but I was looking for a water table and came upon this.  Do you think I could just fill both sides with water?

I thought it was super cute too.  And I'm wondering if my girls will like playing with this more than standing at a water table.  I found it on amazon for $42 which I don't think is too bad.

I would totally get it!  You can always sell that kind of thing on craigslist or whatever for quite a bit!

DD got it for her birthday, it's really cute. We do have the sand side filled with sand, but I don't see why you couldn't fill it with water. You do need some sand to go in the green bug part to weigh it down. Neither side has a drain, but the blue plastic "wings" aren't that heavy and are not hard to dump. I love that it came with an umbrella. DD loves playing with it - she's 2, but we've also had 5 and 7 year-old neighbors play in it too.
