NPR: need your suggestions please

I need to pick up a wedding gift for a couple that (a) I don't know (co-worker of DHs) and (b) haven't registered anywhere. Um, what? I looked at a Just Married photo album at Borders but decided against it for some reason. Any ideas?

Re: NPR: need your suggestions please

  • I always like photo frames. Esp since they will be getting wedding photos to put up. Kohls has a pretty good selection.

    Cash is good too.

  • They probably didn't register because they want $$.  I normally give money for a wedding anyway, and I would do so in this situation.
  • Cash would be the easiest.

  • I like cash too or a Target GC or something.  How much do you want to spend, though?  I get nice sheets a lot for people who haven't registered.  I love nice sheets.  I get us a set every year so we can "retire" our oldest set and still have two or three in rotation.
  • I am not a fan of giving cash. My go to wedding gift for people I don't really know is either a bottle of really nice champagne or a silver frame engraved with their wedding date (I usually get it from Pottery Barn but they are everywhere)
