One more music rec!!

It's a CD called Beethoven's Wig: Sing Along Symphonies... basically, this composer has taken classical pieces and put lyrics to them, so that kids can sing along and learn who the composers are and what the story is about.  It's cute and it's fun!  A great way to get your kid to appreciate "boring" music (though I don't think it's boring!  lol)  And then at the end of the album, they have the classical pieces w/out the lyrics, so the child can recognize the piece w/out the lyrics.

So, like Fur Elise, they put lyrics "Here's a short Beethoven piano piece, he wrote this piece, it's for Elise.  It's all about a fellow named Maurice, who came Greece"  lol

 It's probably for kids 2-3 years old, who begin to recognize music and like to sing along   plus, it's great if you're trying to get your kid to play an instrument!!

that's an awesome idea! I like "boring music" I listen to channel 80 symphony hall to relax me in harsh Miami traffic

i love 'boring' music, too!  lol  I think it's great because i can practice piano at home while singing actual lyrics to abby so she won't get bored!!
