Anyone have names that have meaning behind them for the middle name? After two losses, we really want a name with meaning behind it. We are still deciding on the first name, but it will likely end in "y".
My (and my DD's, and my mom's, and my cousin's) middle name is Joy. I always liked it because it was meaningful, and different from all the Maries or Annes or Elizabeths... but now it's definitely becoming more popular as a mn!
These aren't the same as Faith, Hope, and Grace, but their meanings are similar. I'm not sure which religion you are, but these have Christian meaning. Some are biblical and some are not.
Abigail/Abby = Father is rejoicing
Anna = Grace
Celeste = heavenly
Naomi = my delight
Elyse/Elise = consecrated to God
Eve/Evie = life
Hannah = grace of God
Mariam = wished-for child
I've also seen more trendy variations of Hope, Grace, and Faith like Gracyn. I believe Arya is Persian for Faithful. I think if you search by meaning on a baby name site, you might get some really great ideas.

I like Joy!! Hope and Faith are wonderful, too.
Others you might like: Serenity, Glory, Love
I know a little girl with the name Glory and I think its really nice!
Is Felicity too weird for you as a first name (means Happiness)? Maybe Felicity Grace?
I also liked the suggestion someone had of Evie (life) for a mn.
I like these suggestions.
Those three virtue names have gotten very popular as middle names, but I don't care. I think that's a lovely gift to try to convey to your child.
I also love Joy, Charity, Honor, Mercy, Prudence, and Verity. And I think Grazia and Mercedes are nice options, too.
