I make my own homemade mac n cheese sometimes (i do still use box occasionally too)...but I like to add hamburger meat to my homemade kind...it's sooo good!

I sometimes add in broccoli to the Kraft Mac N Cheese. 

My cousin taught me to love stirring it with creamed corn -- but only per bite.  You can't mix a whole batch or anything.

Otherwise, I don't like anything added in -- I like it plain with its powdered-cheesey goodness.

exactly like this- so good, Sometimes i get creative and saute bacon, onions, and mushrooms and add that to the mac, the cream of mush, the tuna, and the peas

Mine's weird though I guess, I like to add either mustard or taco bell hot sauce.

I usually don't add anything to Kraft, sometimes a hot dog if it's around.  I add boca burger to Velveeta shells and cheese with salsa on top.  To Annie's mac and cheese I'll add broccoli.  Each one has their own distinct boxed mac and cheese personality, I guess!  I love all kinds of mix-ins in homemade mac and cheese, however.

How is that NOBODY mentioned the classic condiment addition....ketchup!  That is all the mac n cheese needs!  Oh...and it is even better if you let the pasta cool a little bit so the cream thickens....

Velveeta cheese.  Or any kind of cheese that I have on hand.  Otherwise I won't make it!  Kraft Mac n Cheese just isn't creamy/cheesy enough if you make it according to the instructions.  Blech.
