Do you regret it? I'm seriously considering getting a tattoo of DD's name. I wonder if this is a phase that I'll regret, or something I'll be happy with. I am a fairly conservative person, so I don't know why this is suddenly appealing to me.

I have a "tramp" stamp. Mine is a sunflower. I don't regret it, but honestly I never see it so I barely remember it is there. I have considered getting another one, but I am anal about things and can't decide on where to put it. Plus, my job requires that they be covered as well.

I have 4... they're all relatively small (quarter to slightly larger than quarter sized) except for my ankle band - I got the first 2 about 10 years ago, I don't regret any of them... and I loove seeing my little symbolic turtle on my front hip all of the time. It makes me smile

I'd love to get the first initials of each my kids (once we're done) on to the top of my foot near my little toe at some point, but DH is kind of a humbug about it.

I don't have one but my sister does and she hates it. She wishes she never got it and is contemplating getting it removed. Mom had told her when she was thinking about getting one to get a henna version first or something similar and see if she still liked it after all that time before she got it. My sister said she wished she listen to my mom because it didn't take her long to regret it.

All of my tattoo's have meaning behind them so I don't regret them. My tramp stamp is never shown, but it has 2 of my friends initials in it who passed away. The one on my foot is of our whole family's initials (I waited until I was done having kids). The one on my shoulder blade is a vine in the shape of a G for our friend who was recently murdered. The only thing I regret is how my foot one turned out, but I'll be getting it fixed by another artist.

I have one that I got 10 years ago and have never regretted it. I have 3 more that I want to get and will eventually when I'm not pregnant/BF.

I agree with the pp though, you need to consider whether you will have more children and if so can/would you accomodate another tattoo for them?

A little bit of regret. But I got it at 18 (18 years ago!!) and it's in a place where you can't see it unless I'm wearing a bikini (my hip). And it's little. If I'd gotten it on my ankle or something I would regret it. It wouldn't be cool to sit in a Board meeting with a tat peeking out from my trousers.

I have 6 (one is of DD's name). Honestly, I think that since you are getting something meaningful, you will not regret it. I do regret 1 of mine, but oh well.

I have 3 and don't regret any...they are all symbols, no mickey on my boob or anything. I'm actually considering getting another to represent 'motherhood.' Just have to figure out if I want to incorporate it into an existing one or have it be on it's own. I'll either get it done this summer before i get pregnant or wait until I'm done BFing #2.

I have 2, I don't regret either. One is a sunflower on my shoulder, I got it on my 18th birthday. The other is a tramp stamp of my DH's police badge that I got right before our wedding and I surprised him with it. The only way I might regret it is if we got divorced but he is the father of my children so regardless it has meaning.
