She CAN take several steps...but only if tricked

She took 7 steps last week when using DH as "bait". This morning she took at least 10 when using a chair as bait. And she doesn't stop because she loses balance either, she simply decides she's done taking steps and will sit back down. I want her to make it official!!!

I know I'm crazy and I may or may not be caught up in the walking-by-first-bday thing but I'm just so excited for her to do it already!

DD was taking a few steps only if tricked for the last couple weeks.  Then on Monday she just figured it out overnight apparently!  She started wanting to walk and she doesn't need to be "tricked".  It really only took less than 2 weeks to go from tricked into a couple steps to taking them all on her own!  And within a couple days she's gotten so better at it already.  I think she'll be running by her birthday, haha!

my son is the same way right now! he will walk more outside on the grass so we have been going outside a lot more to try to build up his confidence figuring it would encourage him to walk more.
